The Liberty Memorial Building/ND State Library is currently undergoing renovations to the roof and the front staircase. Due to this, several of our entrances, the south parking lot, and the drive-up book drop are closed to accommodate the work.
You are still welcome to stop by and browse the collection. Please use the west ground-floor entrance when visiting. There is an outdoor book drop at that entrance. We are also offering curbside services during opening hours (8:00 AM-4:00 PM) and will send items through the mail.
Items that are currently checked out from the State Library’s collection will have their due dates extended to October 15. Items that have been borrowed from other libraries may not be able to be extended. Please contact the State Library if you are unsure of the owning library or to request an extended due date.
