In this ALA’s Rainbow Round Table, attendees will discover exemplary LGBTQIA+ graphic novels for readers of all ages, as featured in a recent collaboration between the Rainbow Round Table and the Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table. This core list recognizes the best published graphic novels for all ages and in a range of genres with diverse characters and stories. The goal of the list is to increase awareness of the validity of the rich and diverse format of graphic novels and to specifically showcase LGBTQIA+ stories, characters, and creators. List creators will discuss the collaboration between the two Round Tables and highlight some of their favorite titles. Bring your questions for our panel!
