Raising Native Voices - Indigenous American Media

In this webinar, participants will learn about the misrepresentation of Indigenous cultures in media (particularly film/television and books), how they impact Native cultures, and, most importantly, how Indigenous creators are taking control of how they are represented back. We will discuss popular Indigenous created media and how it is shaping the future of the field and how libraries can incorporate Indigenous created media into programming and displays.
